Ask a handful of people at what age an individual becomes a fully-formed adult and you are likely to receive just as many answers. Another one or two might joke that adulthood is the kind of thing that can remain elusive even after decades. And those refinements and improvements in neural coordination are heavily dependent on not only neurobiology, but also practice and experience. And this is all without even considering the influences of individual differences, which undoubtedly have a significant impact in the nature and timing of maturation. Despite the lack of a qualifying blue spot, new scientific findings regarding the brain, adolescence, and neurodevelopment are informing legislation and public policy across the country. Those results are shaping legislation ranging from the age one can legally buy tobacco products to when one might be incarcerated without the possibility of parole.

The work was commissioned by the French government in , but the commission was cancelled in before a bronze was cast. A plaster version of the sculpture was exhibited in , and then cast in bronze privately in A second private bronze casting was made in , and it is thought that the plaster version was destroyed at that time. Auguste Rodin had taken on Camille Claudel on as a student in , and she became his associate and lover. He eventually refused to marry her, reluctant to end his long-term relationship with Rose Beuret , mother of his son and later his wife. This love triangle, and an abortion, caused a separation between Claudel and Rodin in , but they remained on reasonable terms until Rodin tried to help Claudel through the agency of another person, and obtained an official commission for her from the Inspector of Fine Arts Armand Silvestre , in , her first commission from the French state. The evolution of the work can be judged from official reports made by Inspector Armand Dayot. The final rupture between Claudel and Rodin came in , when she moved away and opened her own studio.

Entrepreneurs thrive in high-growth evolving markets. There is more revenue to compete for every year, and entrepreneurial innovation can be a key driver of value creation. However, every growth market must mature eventually, and entrepreneurs must be able to navigate the transition to maturity. Often the very basis for competition and value creation will change radically when a market matures. To take an extreme example, the U. Coke, Pepsi and Nestle collectively hold a significant share of the market and have held those shares over time, in part with acquisitions of emerging brands. Competition is oriented around price, brand-building and distribution channel. All three companies return significant cash flows to shareholders each year in the form of dividends and share buybacks.
